Born near Florence in 1978,  she graduated in Architecture in 2004 at University of Florence.

Since the same year she began her professional career cooperating with different architectural firms and design studios  In 2009 she opened her own studio based in Empoli and she developed through collaborations with architects, artists and designers, both in Italy and abroad.

During all the experiences Malaica D’Anzi proposes to pay particular attention to the soul of the materials, to the purity of the project using few elements, focusing on how fascinating is the bond that everyone creates with the architecture during the whole period in which it is lived.

In the end we grow old with our architecture, with our homes: they collect all our experiences and sensations, modelling themselves on the relationship we want to create between container and content.

This is one of the main item on which is based her concept of Architecture, developing a strong sensibility throught natural materials.
